breathtaking moments at Zion

Zion is one of those places you hear a lot about, but can't fully comprehend until you see it with your own eyes. It feels... almost magical, like a place you wouldn't expect to be found on planet earth. It really blew our minds. J and I set out to do a smaller hike but made a wrong turn and ended up 1,000 feet higher than we meant to... oops. Turns out the trail we followed was way more awesome!
We don't know this man but his photobombing game was on point...
Have a blessed Christmas week!

Jerome

We were thrilled to have a few days off together... we seem to be doing a lot of cleaning and 'nesting' as they call it..
but we needed to get out and see something new!
The ghost town of Jerome was just the right little road trip treat.. such a historic, cool place!
Built in 1899 and still making tasty BBQ...
This place was just magical...
never seen anything like this, a kaleidoscope store!
Just brilliant...
 Time for hot cocoa...
It was a beautiful, chilly day indeed..
oh, how I love this guy and our adventures....

the cabin

so there was this one time I asked my husband if he would get me a Christmas mini cabin...
then I asked another time...
and another...
this continued until he realized I wouldn't go away... he got me this^...
oh and let me tell you, he done good.

we decided to go on a small hike until the cabin was ready..
we started hiking...
and hiking...
9,000 feet altitude later...
If you are ever in Flagstaff, make sure you check out Pizzicletta.
arise, shine...
that's a lot of french toast...
our Christmas was full of cliche goodness..
Merry Christmas!
