Lake Dillon

Waking up to water and mountains surrounding you is the most exhilarating feeling there is.  

Enjoying a little of Lake Dillon in CA was so perfect.  A storm was starting to roll in which made our walk around the lake a windy one.. 

but easy breazy is the way we roll :)

J let me know a few months ago that he booked me a ticket to Colorado with him!  

After a few days of work for him.. we were off for adventures.

We packed in as much as we could and soaked in every bit of the beauty that surrounded us.

First day we checked out the "Pikes Peak"...

so sometimes husbands know best.. and mine knew we had a lot to see in one day 
so we rushed through the Garden of the Gods.  ManOman was it fantastically beautiful!!!

all in one day.. oh how I love my adventure buddies!

h o m e {the people one}

We were blessed to have an entire week to visit home. Knowing where to start sharing is nearly impossible! So this post is all about the people; the family and friends in our lives who are so supportive and wonderful. I could go on and on about each person, the wonderful qualities they each possess and the important and unique place that each of them has in our lives, but instead I'm just going to say an overall thank-you.

I did slack in getting pictures of everyone we were able to see but I would love to share a few.Thank-you for a week of fun adventures, delicious food, comfortable homes and much laughter!
